BRAMPTON, Ont. - The St. Clair College men's basketball team lost 92-78 to Sheridan College in Brampton, Ont., on Sunday afternoon dropping their sixth place OCAA west region record to 5-8 with five games remaining on their schedule.
Although shooting 40 per cent from beyond the three-point line the Saints shot only 33 per cent total from the field as Sheridan held a 62-39 advantage in rebounding scoring 21 second chance points. St. Clair trailed 47-29 by the break but played a much better second half outscoring Sheridan 49-48.
Charles Baskin (Detroit, Mich.) was a force from behind the three-point arc making five on his way to 19 points for St. Clair. Third-year guard Jermaine Lynch (Windsor, Ont./JL Forster) scored 13 points while Jordon Dixon-Keating (Orillia, Ont.) chipped in with 12 points off the bench for the Saints.
