The regular season schedule will remain a two-division format. Teams will play a double round robin within their division totalling 18 games each.
Opening tip-off is set for Oct. 20 when the Seneca Sting host the Georgian Grizzlies in an East Division confrontation. The following day, the script flips to the West Division, as the Redeemer Royals visit the Mohawk Mountaineers; the Niagara Knights host the Sheridan Bruins; and the Fanshawe Falcons travel to the Lambton Lions.
A rematch of the 2026 OCAA gold medal game is set for Nov. 25 when the defending champion Humber Hawks visit the Mohawk Mountaineers.
A total of 180 games will be played between October and February, with a mid-season break in December for exams.
The top eight teams in each division qualify for the post-season. The first round will consist of interdivisional play between teams from opposite divisions based according to seeding (1 vs. 8, 2 vs. 7, etc.). The winners will then advance to the quarter-finals, hosted by the higher seeds.
The OCAA championship will consist of back-to-back days of semi-finals and medal matches at the home of the highest remaining seeds. In the event of a tie between the top seeds (eg. No. 1 East and West), the West team will host the championship.
The OCAA champion and the Mountaineers will advance to the 2026 Canadian Collegiate Athletic Association Men's Basketball Championship in Hamilton, Ont., from Mar. 17-20. Mohawk earns an automatic berth as host.
All OCAA schedules for the 2026-27 season, including dates, times and locations, are subject to change.
