A single-division format will be adopted for 2025 as teams will play every team but one in a modified round robin totalling six matches each.
The regular season kicks off on Sept. 13 on two fronts, as the Conestoga Condors travel east to take on the Algonquin Wolves, and the Georgian Grizzlies visit the Seneca Sting. The following day, the defending OCAA champion Humber Hawks play on the road against the St. Lawrence Surge, while the Durham Lords host the Sheridan Bruins.
A rematch of last season's OCAA gold medal match between Humber and Conestoga is scheduled for Oct. 4 in Cambridge. On that same day, the coveted Brown Bear Trophy will be on the line as Georgian hosts Sheridan in the Battle of the Bears.
A total of 24 matches will be played over a span of 44 days. Teams play every weekend (Friday, Saturday or Sunday) with a break during Thanksgiving.
The top six teams at the conclusion of the regular season advance to the post-season, with the top two seeds earning a bye into the semi-finals. Playoff match-ups will be based according to seeding, with the higher seeds hosting the lower seeds. Winners of the semi-finals advance to the gold medal match, while the losing teams play for bronze.
All OCAA schedules for the 2025-26 season, including dates, times and locations, are subject to change.
