The Providence Pilots battled to a thrilling five-set victory over the Humber Hawks during the CCAA Men's Volleyball National Championship.
The Pilots opened the match with a narrow 25–23 win in the first set before the Hawks responded with back-to-back victories, taking the second 25–19 and dominating the third 25–11. Providence regrouped in the fourth set, edging Humber 25–23 to force a deciding fifth set, where the Pilots held their composure to secure a 15–12 win.
Defensively, Kade Lepp played a key role for the Pilots, recording five digs in the victory. For Humber, Paul Manna led the offensive effort with 12 kills, helping keep the Hawks competitive throughout the tightly contested match.

CCAA Bronze Quarter-Final: St. Thomas Tommies 3, Humber Hawks 1
The St. Thomas Tommies earned a four-set victory over the Humber Hawks at the CCAA Men's Volleyball National Championship.
The Tommies came out strong, taking the opening set 25–17 before narrowly edging the Hawks in a thrilling second set that went to extra points, 27–25. Humber responded in the third set with a 25–21 win, but St. Thomas regrouped and held off a late push to secure the match in the fourth set, 25–23.
The Tommies were led offensively by Kalan Noonan, who recorded 11 kills. For Humber, setter Nicolas Kozij played a key role in directing the offence, finishing with an impressive 31 assists to keep the Hawks within striking distance throughout the match.

CCAA Quarter-Final: RDP Kings 3, Humber Hawks 0
The Red Deer Polytechnic Kings scored a straight-sets victory against the Humber Hawks at the 2026 CCAA Men's Volleyball National Championship Wednesday, winning 25-20, 25-18, 25-14 to open their tournament with a convincing performance.
After a competitive opening set that saw the Hawks keep pace early, the Kings pulled away late to secure the 25-20 win. Red Deer carried that momentum into the second set, controlling the tempo offensively and limiting Humber opportunities to claim a 25-18 victory. The Kings completed the sweep in the third set, dominating from the service line and at the net to finish the match 25-14.
Colby Nemeth led the Kings' offensive attack with 12 kills, consistently finding gaps in the Hawks' defence. Brett Lower also played a key role in Red Deer's victory, contributing across the court and helping maintain pressure throughout the three sets.
For Humber, Enzo Endres powered the offence with a match-high 14 kills, providing the majority of the Hawks' scoring and keeping his side competitive through the opening set.
