The visitors from Redeemer held a slight advantage in the early stages but St. Clair used a 13-1 run to close the first quarter and never looked back. The Saints led 41-27 at half-time but limited Redeemer to just six points in the third quarter and eight points in the fourth quarter.
Rookie forward Kaylee Williams (Amherstburg/General Amherst) continued her strong play for St. Clair scoring a game high 17 points and added seven rebounds. Point guard Price Price (Fort McMurray, Alta.) had 16 points but made her mark with eight assists. Kelly Rizea (Windsor/Vincent Massey) and Amanda McCarthy (Windsor/Assumption) also reached double figures for the Saints with 12 points apiece.
Esther Weima was the only Redeemer player in double figures scoring 11 points.
The St. Clair Women host Niagara (Welland) on Sunday at 1 p.m. to finish their weekend home stand.
