The Mohawk women dropped a 73-69 overtime decision to Lambton. The Lions led by six points with time running down but newcomer Taylor Shaw sent the game to extra time with a pair of clutch 3-point buckets. However, the Mountaineers ended up on the losing end after the OT period.
Shaw led Mohawk with 14 points, Rachelle Abella and Lindsay Bokor had 10 each and Cynthia Mosca added nine for the Mountaineers, now 5-6.
Courtney Lundy led all scorers with 17 points for Lambton, now 6-5.
