SCARBOROUGH, Ont. - A late push by the Centennial Colts turned out to be too much for the Durham College women's basketball team on Saturday.
Trailing throughout the game, but by only nine at halftime, 25-16, the Lords tied the game 35-35 in the third quarter. Heading into the final 10 minutes they were down 40-35.
The Colts had a huge fourth quarter, scoring 22 points to Durham's seven, to win 62-42.
Sam Reid led the Colts with 26 points, while Alyxandrea Francisco (Whitby, Ont.) led the Lords with 15 points.
Lindsay Panchan (Ajax, Ont.) had a double-double for Durham, putting up 11 points and 15 boards.
