At stake is a ticket to the OCAA Women's Basketball Championship taking place over a two-day span between Mar. 6-8.
All but one of the higher seeds survived last weekend's crossovers, with the Lambton Lions the lone team to pick up a road victory.
The higher seeded teams play host to this weekend's action, with the top surviving seed hosting the OCAA championship in a week's time.
Fanshawe Falcons, London (11-5, 3rd West) at Seneca Sting, King City (11-3, 2nd East)
Saturday, Feb. 28 - 12 p.m.
The Fanshawe Falcons soared to a relatively easy 91-53 home victory over the Centennial Colts in last Saturday's crossover.
Fanshawe second-year forward Ashlyn Anderson (Latchford) recorded a double-double in the victory scoring 20 points on 9-of-15 shooting (60.0 per cent) while grabbing 13 rebounds.
The Seneca Sting defeated the Niagara Knights 61-50 on Sunday advancing to the quarter-finals.
Seneca second-year shooting guard Alyssa Beckford (Vaughan) earned a double-double off the bench scoring 14 points while grabbing 10 rebounds.
Algonquin Wolves, Ottawa (9-5, 3rd East) at Humber Hawks, Toronto (14-2, 2nd West)
Saturday, Feb. 28 - 1 p.m.
The Algonquin Wolves came away with a 51-40 home victory to eliminate the Conestoga Condors last Saturday.
Algonquin fifth-year guard Taryn Mitchell (Port Colbourne) scored a game-high 16 points for the Wolves on 7-of-12 (58.3 per cent) shooting.
The Humber Hawks easily handled the Durham Lords 76-31 last Saturday in their opening round game.
Humber fifth-year guard Sarah Baptie (Mississauga) was one rebound short of a double-double scoring a game-high 20 points in the win.
Lambton Lions, Sarnia (8-8, 5th West) at Mohawk Mountaineers, Hamilton (15-1, 1st West)
Saturday, Feb. 28 - 1 p.m.
The Mohawk Mountaineers had an unscheduled bye last week as their crossover opponent St. Lawrence Surge were plagued by the injury bug and could not field a complete team.
Mohawk fifth-year guard Maddie Anderson (Whitby) averaged 17.0 points per game during the regular season.
The Lambton Lions were the lone team to win on the road in the opening round, winning 82-73 over the George Brown Huskies last Saturday.
Lambton third-year wing Ava Grant (Marysville, Mich.) had a double-double performance with 10 rebounds and a game-high 19 points on 9-of-15 (60.0 per cent) shooting.
Lambton and Mohawk met twice in the regular season, with the Mountaineers winning both games by an average of 22.5 points.
St. Clair Saints, Windsor (9-7, 4th West) at Loyalist Lancers, Belleville (14-0, 1st East)
Sunday, Mar. 1 - 1 p.m.
The Loyalist Lancers kept their perfect season intact with a 75-55 victory over the Redeemer Royals in their qualifier last Saturday.
Loyalist fourth-year player Grace Callahan (Corbyville) was in complete control on the court, scoring 21 points while grabbing a dozen rebounds and adding six assists, all game-highs. Eleven of those rebounds were off the defensive boards.
The St. Clair Saints defeated the Georgian Grizzlies at home 79-70 to earn their ticket to the quarter-finals.
Fourth-year guard Kaelyn Batten (LaSalle) had a 20 point, 10 defensive rebound and five assist effort in the St. Clair victory.
