The regular season schedule will remain a two-division format. Teams will play a double round robin within their division totalling 14 games (East Division) or 16 games (West Division) each.
The schedule tips off on Oct. 17 with two games, including the defending OCAA champion Mohawk Mountaineers visiting the Redeemer Royals for an early test of Hamilton supremacy. The Sheridan Bruins will also host the Fanshawe Falcons.
The following day, another West Division game will take place as the Niagara Knights entertain the Conestoga Condors.
The defending East Division champion Algonquin Wolves open their season on Halloween night at home against the Durham Lords.
A total of 128 games will be played between October and February, with a mid-season break in December for exams.
The top eight teams in each division qualify for the post-season. The first round will consist of interdivisional play between teams from opposite divisions based according to seeding (1 vs. 8, 2 vs. 7, etc.). The winners will then advance to the quarter-finals, hosted by the higher seeds.
The OCAA championships will consist of back-to-back days of semi-finals and medal matches at the home of the highest remaining seeds. In the event of a tie between the top seeds (eg. No. 1 East and West), the West team will host the championship.
The OCAA champion will advance to the 2026 Canadian Collegiate Athletic Association Women's Basketball Championship in Quebec from Mar. 18-21.
All OCAA schedules for the 2025-26 season, including dates, times and locations, are subject to change.
