The regular season schedule will remain a two-division format. Teams will play a double round robin within their division totalling 14 games (East Division) or 16 games (West Division) each.
Opening tip-off is set for Oct. 20 when the Seneca Sting host the Georgian Grizzlies in an East Division showdown. The following day, the focus turns to the West Division, as the Mohawk Mountaineers entertain the Redeemer Royals; the Sheridan Bruins visit the Niagara Knights; and the Lambton Lions host the Fanshawe Falcons.
A rematch of the 2026 OCAA gold medal game is set for Nov. 11 when the defending champion Fanshawe Falcons visit the Humber Hawks.
A total of 128 games will be played between October and February, with a mid-season break in December for exams.
The top eight teams in each division qualify for the post-season. The first round will consist of interdivisional play between teams from opposite divisions based according to seeding (1 vs. 8, 2 vs. 7, etc.). The winners will then advance to the quarter-finals, hosted by the higher seeds.
The OCAA championship will consist of back-to-back days of semi-finals and medal matches at the home of the highest remaining seeds. In the event of a tie between the top seeds (eg. No. 1 East and West), the East team will host the championship.
The OCAA champion will advance to the 2026 Canadian Collegiate Athletic Association Women's Basketball Championship in Abbotsford, B.C., from Mar. 17-20.
All OCAA schedules for the 2026-27 season, including dates, times and locations, are subject to change.
