The St. Clair College women's varsity soccer team clinched a playoff berth with a 0-0 draw on Tuesday night in Sarnia against the Lambton Lions. Rebecca Singer was solid in net picking up her fourth shutout in seven starts. This will be the St. Clair women's first playoff appearance since 2007.
The Saints ended the regular season with a record of 2-3-3 and nine points. They are currently in fourth place in the tough OCAA West Division but some teams have matches remaining on Wednesday night. St. Clair could end up in either fourth place and host a playoff game on Saturday or fifth place and travel for a playoff game on the weekend depending on the results of the games on Wednesday.
