HUMBER FALLS SHORT OF NATIONAL BRONZE MEDAL
NAINAMO, B.C. - The Humber Hawks women's volleyball team fell 3-1 (25-23, 25-23, 19-25, 25-18) to the UFV Cascades in the bronze medal game at the 2012 Canadian Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) Women's Volleyball National Championship at Vancouver Island University in Nanaimo, B.C.

Nina Carino was named Humber Player of the Game, recording five kills and two service aces. Carino was also named a Tournament Second-Team All-Star.
Humber teammate Michelle Overzet earned Tournament First-Team All-Star recognition.
The fourth-place finish for the Hawks was an improvement on their sixth-place finish at the tournament last year.
