The Fanshawe women's volleyball team defeated the St. Clair Saints at the Glenn Johnston Athletics Centre on Wednesday night, winning in straight sets, 25-19, 25-10, 25-22. The Falcons are ranked third in the province and with the win improved their record to 10-3 on the season.

Fanshawe head coach Mark Peckham commented on his team being undefeated this season after winning the first set; "The first set is always important, you always want to get off to a quick start and not put yourself in any holes. Other than that, the best part is seeing that the lineup looks good."
The point leaders on the night for Fanshawe were Stephanie Bignell with 14 (nine kills, five blocks) and Brandie Ellis who had 11 (10 kills, one ace). Alee Brecka led the way for St. Clair with 10 points (seven kills, two aces, one block).
