SENECA 3, ALGONQUIN 1
NORTH YORK, Ont. - The Seneca Sting women's volleyball team bounced back from just their second loss of the season in a big way, knocking off the Algonquin Thunder in four sets.
After falling for the second time to the Georgian Grizzlies, the Sting flew out of the gates in the opening set, jumping out to a 6-1 lead. Not much else would go right for the Sting the rest of the set as they dropped the opening set for the third straight match.

Clinging to a 24-23 lead and match point in their grasps, Lindsay Ballance (Napanee, Ont.) and Lauren Watt (Barrie, Ont.) teamed up for a block to end the match.
The Sting continue to receive contributions from a number of players as Law-Tan (11) and Ballance (10) led the team in kills. Four payers reached double-digits in digs with Clare Weisser (Queensville, Ont.) led the team with 19 digs. O'Donnell added six kills, three blocks and 14 digs.
