SUDBURY, Ont. - The Mohawk women's volleyball team bounced back from their defeat by Cambrian on Friday, defeating Boreal 25-8, 25-12, 28-26 in Sudbury, Ont., on Saturday.
Two rookies led the way on offence. Kinsley Child produced nine kills, two service aces and 15 digs, while Yvonne Mann had three kills, three aces and 15 assists.
The defensive star for the Mountaineers was Mackenzie Pulham with 15 digs.
Mohawk is now 2-1. Boreal falls to 0-3.
