SEMI-FINAL NO. 1 - FANSHAWE 3, HUMBER 0

The crowd was electric and the action was non stop as these two powerhouses put on an incredible display of volleyball. 

Fanshawe's offence was on point as they chipped away at Humber's defence with a first set win 25-19.

Not to be outdone, the Humber Hawks stepped up their game in the second set pushing the Falcons to their limits but just couldn't close it out missing a few key opportunities, dropping the second set 31-29.

The Humber fans tried to keep their team afloat but Fanshawe's offence took its toll on the team. The Hawks couldn't get back in the saddle with Fanshawe dominating the third and final set 25-8 and ending Humber's quest for a 12th straight championship.

Fanshawe moves on to the gold medal match against Niagara College at 5 p.m. on Sunday.

Humber still has a chance at a bronze medal, taking on the Durham Lords at 2 p.m. on Sunday.
